EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

At Faith Lutheran School, we are committed to providing a high-quality academic, Christ-centered education. We believe each child is a unique and special gift from God. We desire to reflect the love of Jesus to families through the nurturing and education of their children. Our goal is to care for the whole child by maintaining the best possible environment for spiritual, mental, physical, and social development.

The preschool years are an important time in the development of a child. During this time, children need a safe and stimulating environment in which they can learn through "hands on" experiences. Young children need to be given the opportunity to explore and manipulate a wide variety of materials. We also believe that play is a very important part of the early childhood classroom. Through play, a child is developing social skills, learning how to handle their emotions, and gaining knowledge of the world around them.

Our teachers are highly qualified educators and Christian role models. The entire school staff works hard to provide a quality educational experience that emphasizes building a relationship with Jesus and academically prepares your child for entry into elementary school.
